The CEO of a knowledge-based company believes that the support of large industries, including the petroleum industry, to knowledge-based companies can become the basis for neutralizing sanctions, and many specific needs of industries can be met by capable domestic knowledge-based companies.
Arsalan Ghanavati, the CEO of Iran’s Internet of Things Development Center, said: “Knowledge-based companies, thanks to their capabilities, can solve many of the needs of the petroleum industry, and in this line, with the support by various sectors of the petroleum industry, including the National Iranian Oil Company and the National Iranian South Oil Company, we have seen that knowledge-based companies have done great things.”
He added: “Assessing the needs of industries and creating a suitable platform for reaching cooperation agreements and signing contracts with knowledge-based companies are among the goals that solve many problems and meet the needs of the two sectors, i.e., the petroleum industry and knowledge-based companies, if taken into consideration by large groups such as the National Iranian South Oil Company, so that they provide the foundation for the realization of the proposed plans in cooperation with other knowledge-based companies active in this field.”
Ghanavati stated: “The support of large industries, including the petroleum industry, to knowledge-based companies can become the basis for neutralizing sanctions, and many specific needs of industries can be met by capable domestic knowledge-based companies.”
Employing knowledge-based companies in the field of production
The CEO of Iran's Internet of Things Development Center said: “Assessing the needs of industries and providing solutions to meet needs and solve problems is one of the measures that knowledge-based companies can achieve well, and in this regard, employing knowledge-based companies in the field of production for the first time in the National Iranian South Oil Company is one of such measures that have been of great interest during the 13th government and have become the basis for the growth of many companies active in the petroleum industry.”
He stated that one of the areas of cooperation between Iran’s Internet of Things Development Center and the National Iranian South Oil Company was the holding of a seminar on the role of industries in the path of innovation and development of the knowledge-based economy, taking into account the capabilities of the domestic human resources. He added: “Completing the production chain with high productivity in addition to developing the knowledge-based ecosystem through innovation can create the ground for employment in the downstream industries of the petroleum industry, and this will also lead to the growth of production, increased productivity, etc.”
Ghanavati continued: “Knowledge-based companies active in the field of petroleum and other fields can interact with each other to meet the needs of many industries, even very technical and specialized needs, and effectively neutralize sanctions, but in the meantime, there is a need for large industries such as petroleum to trust this domestic power and compassionate scholars active in knowledge-based companies. Fortunately, this has been well realized in the 13th government and the management of the National Iranian Oil Company and the National Iranian South Oil Company, and we hope this will continue.”
Referring to the holding of the “Petrofen Zone” event and the cooperation of knowledge-based companies with petrochemical companies in meeting the needs of these companies, he pointed out: “With the cooperation of the National Iranian South Oil Company, the model used by Mahshahr Special Economic Zone in meeting the needs of petrochemicals with the cooperation of knowledge-based companies can be highly regarded, and by implementing such a model, the petroleum industry's needs for many technologies, goods, etc. can be met.”
